Lesson Plans
The Young4President campaign is a project that I have created in order to teach my 8th grade Social Studies students about our country's political system. The students are in charge of all aspects of the campaign, including such things as researching policy positions, following news about the major political candidates, creating print media, and maintaining our social media presence.
As I go through the year, I will post assignments that my students are being given so that anyone can follow along with the lessons.
Students are posting the work they do to the internet using Weebly, which is a very easy web creation tool. Teachers can get a free account and the ability to manage up to 40 free student accounts by signing up at http://education.weebly.com .
